This event will be broadcast online live, beginning at 6:30 PM Eastern.

Come join local community media experts to discuss how nonprofits can make and distribute their own videos, audio, and photography. Specifically, presenters will demonstrate how this media can be used with social networking technology to further organizational goals. Participants will have a chance to see examples of media created by nonprofits and other community groups and have the opportunity to ask the experts questions about creating community media content for their own causes. Presenters will also showcase a list of community media resources available to non-profits in the area, and will include:

Persons who can really benefit from this meetup are those who would like to add media content to their websites, blogs, and/or social media programs, and anybody who wants to better understand these evolving technologies.
